The media seeks the negative. They want to see us at our worst and sell it to the entire world. Trump handles the media well because he doesn’t hide who he is. He puts it all out there. He has no filter, and I think that’s what this country needs. We need to be feared again.
The last time we were feared was at the end of World War II. Since then, we’ve been terrorized on our own soil multiple times and have bickered with foreign countries like an argument between a married couple instead of just filing for a divorce and getting it over with. Now we have a president who speaks his mind and does what he says he’s going to do, and all the media can do is bring up things from the past before social media was relevant and use that to turn people against him.
We all have skeletons in our closets because we have all done things we regret, but it shapes who we become. I think Trump deserves a chance before we judge him as a president, because he may be what our country needs to get back to where it used to be.
Don’t be like the media and jump to conclusions with your opinion about something he’s doing. Do what the media won’t do, and step away from the keyboard to see what happens first. Don’t add gas to the media’s fire. Instead, think about if you were in Trump’s position wanting to make America great again while having all of America on your back trying to drag you down into the flames.
He’s going to slip up, he’s going to rant on Twitter, he’s going to make mistakes. Every great president has made them, but part of being great is having mistakes to reflect on and grow from. Do you think Thomas Edison invented the light bulb on the first try?
Donald Trump has never been the president before, so the way he approached things as a business mogul may be completely different now that he’s president. We used to crawl around and poop in diapers before we became potty trained, and that didn’t happen overnight either, so maybe the media should let him become POTUS trained.
